Paper to Paperless Ticket Conversion

veritix | January 27, 2012

We are excited to highlight a Flash Seats® feature that allows fans to convert their paper tickets to Flash Seats paperless tickets.  Once the conversion is completed, fans can take advantage of all the benefits of the Flash Seats system including attending the event with a simple swipe of a registered electronic ID, electronically transferring seats to other individuals, and listing tickets for sale (if allowed by the venue).

The process for fans to convert to paperless tickets is simple and easy to follow in our Flash Seats system.  Fans are required to choose the number of tickets they are converting and the type of ticket to convert (Assigned Seats or General Admission), and enter ticket information, including the barcode. Tickets that are converted are only available on Flash Seats; the paper tickets become void and are no longer usable.  Once fans convert the tickets, they can start taking advantage of the great benefits Flash Seats offers.

This feature offers fans convenient, easy and secure transferability of their newly-converted Flash Seats tickets without the hassle of paper tickets. Instead of having to visit the Box Office in person or calling a Sales Representative, fans with paper tickets can now initiate the conversion directly from their computer or mobile device. Also, if fans learn they cannot attend the event last minute, the conversion will allow them to electronically transfer the seats to another person, or list their seats for sale on the marketplace.  This can be all done without having to meet in person to exchange the tickets, and everyone involved in the transfer or sale can relax knowing Flash Seats paperless tickets are legitimate and guaranteed, without the risk of fraudulent or counterfeit tickets.

For venues and artists, the feature will allow them to gain valuable marketing information.  Since the converted tickets will be on Flash Seats, venues and artists will be able to track fan habits and behaviors. Ticket purchases, transfers, sales, seating preferences, price sensitivity and attendance are tracked by the system, enabling personally-relevant marketing.  Knowing your customers is paramount, and this feature lets you gather more data about your most important asset—your fans.

Extending Your Relationship with Fans

veritix | January 4, 2012

The Veritix® ticketing platform offers a white label, open and integrated solution that lets teams, venues and artists capture and regain control of the fan experience. Our platform is unique in the ticketing industry because it provides an open architecture, unmatched by others, which allows for real-time, bi-directional exchange of information. This is a powerful benefit for clients, who can integrate with best of breed third-party solutions, manage their ticketing operations with our advanced, end-to-end systems, and use our platform to capitalize on all aspects of their business.

One of the strengths of the Veritix platform, both our primary product and our patented secondary product Flash Seats®, is that it provides one central repository of customer information, habits and interest. The core of your business—fan data—resides in one location and provides you with insights into your fans’ behaviors like ticket buying tendencies, concession habits and merchandise spending. All of which allow you to use this information to extend the life cycle of fans by providing the right incentives, programs and offers.

Fans are also given a comfortable, familiar brand—yours—at every ticketing touch point, from your ticketing web site to ticket stock to our customer service lines. Your brand remains the focus, encouraging fans to continue and extend their relationship with you.

The end result: a powerful ticketing platform that lets you control the fan experience and allows your fans to have a direct relationship with you—their favorite team, artist or venue. And remember, the Veritix platform is not just a ticketing platform; it’s an information technology platform with a ticketing component. Why the distinction? Because no other ticketing system gives you the flexibility, customization and reliability you need to adjust to changing business conditions and provide your fans with the best experience possible. Start using the Veritix platform today!
