We’ve just returned from another successful INTIX Ticketing Conference which hosted ticketing companies and box office decision makers from various teams and venues from all over the world.  This year’s events took place in beautiful San Francisco, California and we couldn’t have asked for better weather, or a better turnout.

We connected with current clients and old friends, and had the opportunity to meet  a lot of great new people throughout the week. Much of the discussion at this year’s conference centered on providing a better fan experience while looking for ways to securely participate in the secondary market and it was exciting to showcase our fully integrated Veritix® system and Flash Seats® product which accomplish both.

Our tradeshow booth remained busy with demonstrations all week and even after-hours events provided great networking opportunities with prospects.

Whille there for the conference, we took the opportunity to host a Veritix client user group meeting.  Many of Veritix’s clients got together to share best practices, see latest developments and share user experiences and highlights of the Veritix platform.  It’s always great to share and and get direct feedback from our users.  All in all, it was a great week and we returned feeling energized for a great 2011.

We are so excited to extend our relationship with Boise State University who will continue to use the Veritix® platform to provide a dynamic, convenient, safe and reliable experience for sports and entertainment fans alike at Bronco Stadium, Taco Bell Arena, The Morrison Center, and to support its site, Idahotickets.com.

Boise State was one of the first clients in the Veritix family and since joining us they have been one of the most innovative clients in their approach to selling tickets, gathering information and giving their fans the best ticketing experience. Our platform has enabled them to sell more tickets while creating better relationships with their fans.

There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that you are helping a client service their customers and we want to thank Boise State University for their business through the years and say that we are looking forward to the future.

Happy New Year to everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the holidays and that this first week of 2011 finds you healthy, happy and prosperous..

This first blog posting of 2011 finds us with a fortuitous opportunity to announce another first: the first NCAA Championship Game to have all the advanced tickets from Veritix will be played this Friday, January 7^th.  

The Eastern Washington Eagles (Big Sky Conference) will be taking on the Delaware Blue Hens (Colonial Athletic Conference) in the 2011 Division One Football Championship in Frisco, Texas at Pizza Hut Park. The game will be on ESPN2HD starting at 6:00 pm CST.

Both teams are 12-2 overall this season and this will be Eastern Washington’s first time in the championship game. Delaware is the 2003 Division One champion and is making its first appearance in the championship game since 2007, a loss to Appalachian State.

Since signing a relationship with the NCAA, we have been handling some other men’s and women’s sports championships, but this Division One Championship will be the biggest single event  to date.

Pizza Hut Stadium has a capacity of more than 20,000 and fans will be coming from both east and west to see their teams play.  All tickets for this event were sold using the Veritix platform. The NCAA took advantage of the opportunity the platform provides to extend the school to fan relationship, to own and control the ticketing experience and to provide a safe and secure environment  to purchase and deliver tickets. 

We want to congratulate the Eagles and the Blue Hens for making it to the championship and wish them both, good luck. We also want to congratulate Pizza Hut Park for hosting the game. And finally, we want to thank  the NCAA for utilizing the Veritix platform and providing a great ticketing experience for college football fans everywhere.
